Pupil Premium

Pupils who receive the Pupil Premium (PP) funding at St Teresa’s school have made very strong progress from a range of starting points, over the past three years.

The percentage of PP pupils has fallen steadily over the past three years and is currently well below the national average at 9.5% of the whole school population.  This is despite the fact that the school is classified as existing in an area of deprivation higher than the national average.

The following strategy explains how the school allocates funding to PP pupils in the following areas:

  1. Quality of teaching for all children including pupil premium pupils.
  2. Targeted support for pupil premium pupils.
  • Other approaches for pupil premium children.

The strategy is designed to be a ‘live document’ reviewed in January and March 2017.’
